Cooper

Cooper is an American/ Quarter Horse mix who is at least 22 years old. Cooper worked as a PATH certified horse serving quadriplegic children on Long Island offering Hippotherapy to not only bring joy but also help build their core strength. Spirit’s Promise rescued him in 2022 from the Old Towne Equestrian Center due to his current owner’s financial situation. With a body score of 3, Cooper’s diet had to be adjusted to allow for weight gain during the colder weather. He requires constant monitoring and will be seen by the farrier in a few weeks as well as the dentist in the upcoming months. Cooper isn’t part of a herd just yet, but that will come when his health has been evaluated.
